Transparent.
Straightforward.
Private.
We believe the financial side of therapy should be as clear and respectful as the work itself. Here's everything you need to know before your first appointment.
"Private-pay therapy allows care to be driven by your goals — not by what an insurance company will reimburse."
What to Expect
One-on-one therapy with Daniel Rubin or Catherine Lovern. In-person and telehealth available.
Structured sessions focused on communication, connection, and lasting relationship change.
A private, uninterrupted five-hour therapeutic day with Catherine Lovern, LCSW. Limited availability.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, and checks. Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
We do not bill insurance directly. We are a private-pay practice. Superbills are available upon request for out-of-network reimbursement.
All appointments are by arrangement only. Availability is intentionally limited to ensure quality care for each client.
Superbills Available Upon Request
If you plan to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider, we can provide a superbill after payment is received. A superbill contains all the information your insurer needs to process an out-of-network claim.
- Provider credentials and license information
- CPT codes (procedure codes)
- Diagnosis codes
- Dates of service
- Fees paid
- All information required for out-of-network submission
24-Hour Notice Required
We ask that clients provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the time to another client who may be waiting. We appreciate your respect for this policy.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled session will be charged the full session rate.
Missed appointments without notice will also be charged the full session rate.
In-person, phone, and telehealth appointments are all subject to this policy.
Emergencies or extraordinary circumstances may be considered at the clinician's discretion. Documentation may be requested.
